Having begun work as a Creative Director, he built IridiumGroup into a renowned boutique agency by successfully managing branding initiatives and developing creative marketing ideas for a broad range of clients. He now serves as a brand steward for every client, ensuring that all goals are achieved, on every engagement. An AIGA and AMA member, Dwayne has received numerous awards, including the Distinguished Alumni Award from Virginia Tech.  | President & CEO, Ext. 17 Betsy Thomas Betsy Thomas | Account Manager bthomas@iridiumgroup.com Betsy directs client accounts at IridiumGroup. She joined the company having served as Marketing Manager and Account Manager at several New York-based creative firms. At IridiumGroup, she provides strategic ideas and copywriting, as well as managing accounts including UNFCU, Freedom2 and Infinitink, The Simons Foundation, The American Red Cross, and the Pew Charitable Trusts. A native of Maryland's Eastern Shore, she graduated from Georgetown University with a BA in English.  | Account Manager, Ext. 25 Abdullah Hassan Abdullah Hassan | Production & Account Services ahassan@iridiumgroup.com Abby manages the production of all print projects in the studio. Abby also supports and contributes to the Iridium creative team in a variety of ways. He has over 6 years of experience in both the editorial and advertising industries, including positions as Production Manager for Jeff McKay, Inc., a high-end fashion advertising agency, and as the Assistant to the Creative Director for ESSENCE Magazine. Abby graduated from The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.  | Production & Account Services, Ext. 16 Janese Castro Janese Castro | Project Manager jcastro@iridiumgroup.com Janese is in charge of internal office operations, billing, and facilitating Iridium's needs through interaction with the client. Prior to joining IridiumGroup, she spent a year at Tapehouse Editorial, where she managed accounts payable and assisted the company's CFO and Comptroller. She holds an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration and is working toward receiving her BA in real estate and Metropolitan Development at Baruch's School of Public Affairs.  | Project Manager, Ext. 24 Leslie Velasco Leslie Velasco | Operations Manager lvelasco@iridiumgroup.com Leslie joined IridiumGroup with extensive experience in accounting, having worked for various creative companies in New York. Prior to joining IridiumGroup, she spent 5 years as Jr. Controller at The Edelman Group and 3 years as Full Charge Bookkeeper at H2O Associates. Her duties include human relations, as well as tracking billing and new business for Iridium. She also handles accounting procedures for all clients. Leslie is a graduate of Philippine Christian University in Manila, Philippines.  | Operations Manager, Ext. 15 Yi Son Ko Yi Son Ko | Senior Designer yko@iridiumgroup.com Yi Son creates many of IridiumGroup's most innovative design solutions. She joined Iridium after relocating to New York from Seoul, Korea, where she worked as a senior designer for Hyundai Corporation. Prior to that, she worked professionally in England for Sears Davies Designers, Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, Dar Al Handasah, Heath Lambert Group, Sport England and Imperial College, and various other UK firms, leading the creative development of identities and brands. Yi Son received her MA in Communication Design from Manchester Metropolitan University.  | Senior Designer, Ext. 21 June Kim June Kim | Senior Designer jkim@iridiumgroup.com June is responsible for designing many of the online and print initiatives that IridiumGroup delivers to its clients. Prior to joining Iridium, June worked at The New York Times and at Section P Design Studio. He has received awards from the Type Director's Club, American Graphic Design Awards and Adobe Design Achievement Awards, to name just a few. And his design works have been published in many design books and magazines in Europe, Asia and the U.S. June received his BFA from the School of Visual Arts and the Master's from Pratt Institute in New York City.  | Senior Designer, Ext. 22 Ferdinand Alfonso Ferdinand Alfonso | Designer falfonso@iridiumgroup.com Ferdinand is responsible for many of IridiumGroup's flash animation designs, as well as print projects. Prior to his work at Iridium, he created brand identities, packaging, ad campaigns and various marketing communications for Haier NY. He also gained experience in web development and viral marketing through several freelance engagements, with FutureFarmers, Honest Inc. and others. Ferd earned a BA with distinction from California College of the Arts, in San Francisco.  | Designer, Ext. 13 Anne Foley Anne Foley | Designer afoley@iridiumgroup.com Anne joined IridiumGroup and quickly became integral to many design concepts, contributing to projects for UNFCU and Pew, among others. While still in school, Anne completed an internship program with CommonHealth - a network of companies in New Jersey that specialize in healthcare marketing. She also held a student manager position at VDS4 (Visual Design Studio 4) in Blacksburg, Virginia, where she designed brand identities, newsletters, brochures, and websites for various clients.
