Freedom2 is a new consumer products company that soft-launched its premiere product, Infinitink, in 2008.
The core value proposition was unique: Give consumers the chance to get high quality tattoos that are permanent,
but removable with one laser treatment. The company sees itself not just as a supplier to tattoo artists,
but also appealing to a larger consumer audience that feels empowered to make personal statements more effectively through the new technology.
IridiumGroup served as a creative leader and partner to create the brand identity, visual system of tools, and guidelines to ensure effective presentation of the brand across platforms.
We presented options for product names, taglines for various audiences, and created the signature lock-up of a rising Phoenix, a nod to the product's ability to allow users to reinvent,
and re-express their own personal identity. With a need to communicate to both B2B and B2C audiences, our team considered not only the presentation of messages and marketing
tools to tattoo artists and consumers for Infinitink.
The product was designated by Time as one of the most innovative products of 2007 and has received tremendous media coverage,
as well as a warm reception in the tattoo community.
